DOOM: The Dark Ages
Release date
The fact that id Software plans to release a new installment of the Doom game became known in the
summer of 2024. On June 9, the company announced the release of Doom: The Dark Ages at Xbox Games
Showcase 2024 - a presentation of upcoming game projects from Microsoft.
The event showed the game's first official trailer and also revealed the year of its release. In
three weeks, the video, published on the YouTube channel Bethesda Softworks, was watched more than
five million times.
In addition, the Xbox Games Showcase 2024 presented trailers of such projects as Call of Duty: Black
Ops 6, Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred and Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
System Requirements and Gameplay
The system requirements needed to launch the game have not been revealed yet. However, it is already
known that the game will be available not only for Xbox users, although the developer id Software is
entirely owned by Microsoft Corporation.
It is not yet known whether the game will support the Russian language. In June 2024, the official Doom:
The Dark Ages page on Steam lists only one language - English.
It is unclear whether the new Doom: The Dark Ages will have a multiplayer mode. At the moment it is
known only about the story mode, which the user will be able to pass alone.
